Julie Mayne has been a rural woman for over 30 years and believes you can’t underestimate the importance of keeping rural and remote women connected.
Julie is a visionary, but by trade she’s a beef cattle breeder and producer from Dulacca with a penchant for creating beautiful artworks though sculpture and pen and ink.
Part of her 30 year journey in the agricultural sector has included various roles, as a horse trainer, contract musterer, dozer operator, truck driver through to station manager, branded beef marketer and business manager – all male dominated arenas.
Julie first became involved with QRRRWN as part of the History Project transcribing interviews, doing book reviews and interviewing members where she gained an immense appreciation for the strong history and achievements of many amazing women.
“I am so excited to play my part for QRRRWN especially with so many exciting events coming up, which we can’t wait to share with you”.
