The Queensland Rural Regional and Remote Women’s Network (QRRRWN) is hosting 4 days of events in Rockhampton from Monday 3 May to Friday 7 May 2021 during Beef Australia 2021 in the James Lawrence Pavilion. Our program is built around celebrating the contributions made by women across the Beef Industry. The PROGRAM can be viewed here https://qrrrwn.org.au/beef2021program/. There is a PLACE TO RELAX FOR THE FAMILY – rest areas and free tea and coffee. PUT YOUR FEET UP – and be INSPIRED. ‘George the Farmer’ is also in the QRRRWN venue – something for the KIDS!
This celebration has been made possible by our event partner Colliers International Agribusiness. Their Head of Agribusiness, Rawdon Briggs says ‘Anyone living & working in Rural or Regional Australia understands the huge commitment, determination and leadership delivered everyday by a growing number of dynamic women, all communities are all the better for their collective success, Leah Freney in the Colliers team is a great example of what we all seek to accelerate success as she leads our involvement at Beef Aust 2021’. Our other sponsors include: Health & Wellbeing Queensland, AgTrade, Department of Agriculture & Fisheries, Kennedy & Grace (home, apparel, gifts) Clermont. A huge thanks also to Merlo Coffee for their donation!
Come and hear from innovators, female led start-ups, founders, thought leaders and change makers from across Queensland who are making their mark in the Beef Industry. We have an afternoon of creatives and will hear from women in media and their experiences in a variety of agricultural topics.
