Would you like to become a better speaker, presenter and communicator while being part of a friendly and encouraging group?
QRRRWN is delivering a new virtual program in 2018 in partnership with Forum Queensland. The 10-session program is aimed at developing leadership confidence in rrr women, particularly through practicing good meeting procedure and speaking publicly.
The QRRRWN Virtual Be Confident Forum will be a place where rrr women can help each other be confident and effective communicators for their professional and personal lives.
The 60 minute sessions will run fortnightly from late January to June using the GoToWebinar platform which can be accessed via computer or by phone. Participants will be guided through the process of running formal meetings in a non-threatening environment during which time spoken presentations on pre-determined topics will be delivered and ‘assessed’ in a friendly and supportive way.
The maximum number of participants is 20, with the cost being $59 (QRRRWN members) and $99 (non-QRRRWN members). Participants will receive Forum’s meeting procedure workbook (online version included in price, printed copy $15 + postage)
Background: Forum is a group who have been in existence for more than 75 years, with branches across Queensland.
