Our Keynote Speaker for Conference Opening on Friday morning was Jean Kittson.
Jean is well loved and respected through both her comedic stage, screen and film roles as well as her regular appearances on the ABC Radio 702 program ‘Thank God it’s Friday’.
It is with great pleasure that we will be hosting Jean as she shares her experiences, life and joys with us at the Conference.

Our Keynote Speaker for the Westpac Agribusiness Breakfast on Friday morning was Jacqui Wilson-Smith.
Jacqui is the recipient of the 2017 RIRDC Queensland Rural Woman’s Award.
She is also the head of Global Innovation with Gourmet Garden Herbs and Spices, as well as co-founder of FAN | Food & Agribusiness Network.
Jacqui loves to lead project teams of innovative thinkers who put the customer’s journey first. She wants to start more conversations about encouraging women to setup up from participating only, into strategic leadership roles within rural industries.

Nicole McDowell will share her story and provide tips to improve lifestyle and health through education, cooking, fitness, and lifestyle motivation.
Building Financially Vibrant Individuals and Communities
Rachel Smith’s presentation is in 5 parts: Insights, Inspiration, Information, Influence and Implementation. Rachel provides fast, thought-provoking and entertaining workshops.
Fiona Lake has designed a workshop especially for rural and remote women, lending her own personal experiences on travel, what she wished she’d known before she started, and other topics that will help you to plan and travel confidently.
Be Confident – Public Speaking
Julieann Caffery will share 5 great tips on the art of confident public speaking. She will include tips like ‘making a great start’ and a ‘memorable finish’.
RRR Technology Think Tank
Rachel Hay will engage participants in a practical think-tank around situations that affect them in their business and personal lives.
Aspire, Enable, Transform
Maree Franettovich knows you invest heavily in family and friends, however do you invest as much in yourself? Maree will provide information to help you see how important education is to your life too.
Grant Writing Gems
Sue Pukallus has learned many skills through her years of successful grant writing. Sue will help guide you to see what you need to be looking for and how to stand out from the other applicants.
Mobile Phone Photography
Fiona Lake is an awarded rural photographer who is wanting to share her ideas and tips on getting the most out of your mobile phone camera, choosing suitable equipment without spending more than you need, and how to use your photographs effectively.
Leadership in a Business Context
Jane Muller has a workshop that explores the many and varied spaces for leadership in farm business, rural industries and your local community. This is an opportunity to reflect on roles that you play now and where you could extend to in the future.

Leanne Cross will encourage and exhort you to push past your comfort zone to achieve goals and gain fulfillment from your life.
Small Business Soapbox – Pitch Your Passion
Alison Mobbs will host a workshop that takes you through the steps of preparing your pitch – including how to write, practice, polish and video a short pitch that explains your business or organisation’s purpose.
Mindfulness and Relaxation
Rene Thomson will equip you with tools and tips to manage your stress levels, to diffuse your responses to situations and circumstances before they reach that boiling point.
Meagan Walker will teach you how simple yoga postures can ‘unlock’ the body and improve your body-mind connection, receptivity and awareness. Bring a mat and some comfy clothes as this one is hands-on.
